Position InformationReporting to the Blackstone LaunchPad Entrepreneur-in-Residence, the Technology Partnerships Program Training Coordinator possesses a blend of technical aptitude, educational experience, and community engagement skills. The incumbent is familiar with the UC Riverside systems and possesses a foundational understanding of entrepreneurship and business operations. The incumbent develops educational materials for non-traditional students and assists in coordinating events. This position also interacts with a variety of campus and system-wide offices to facilitate the management, administration and conduct of the Technology Partnerships department with Research and Economic Development. This position is a part-time position of 60% FTE for one-year with the possibility of renewal contingent on continued funding. The full salary range for the Technology Partnerships Program Training Coordinator is $73,600 - $133,200 annually. However, the budgeted salary range for this position is $73,600 - $103,400. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that this range is for a full-time equivalent but as the position is a part time 60% FTE, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, and/or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
  • Knowledge of a variety of administrative operations activities such as events planning, basic fundraising processes, risk management planning, website design, accounting and payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills.
  • Strong skills in short term planning, analysis and problem-solving and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols and procedures for budget, accounting and fund management, and/or personnel management.
  • Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs. Advanced knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
