Leidos Defense Systems Sector is looking for a knowledgeable Program Scheduling Specialist to join our Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 program within the Land Systems Business Area. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of program scheduling and planning.

As a Program Scheduling Specialist, you will provide direct scheduling support for essential programs and related portfolios. You will work closely with various manufacturing and production leads, Integrated Product teams, key program stakeholders, and an EVMS support team to enhance program planning and execution while ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and company policies.

This role is part of the robust Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE), where you will play a vital role in meeting the scheduling, planning, and EVMS objectives while utilizing modern scheduling tools and practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related documentation following EVM standards and industry best practices.
• Align resource time phasing and plans with the IMS for an integrated technical, schedule, and cost baseline.
• Create and analyze what-if scenarios to inform program decision-makers.
• Lead scheduling initiatives to identify and resolve programmatic issues effectively.
• Contribute to program scheduling business rhythms and controls.
• Produce scheduling documentation to fulfill contractual requirements.
• Monitor and report performance metrics against baseline schedules to ensure achievement of contractual and cost objectives.
• Support the EVM COE and programs during audits, reviews, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Interface regularly with Program Managers, Contracts, and Senior Technical Personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of program scheduling experience, or additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong understanding of programmatic scheduling principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scheduling theory, including experience with:
• Schedule status processes
• Schedule health assessment
• Resource loading/management
• Baseline change control
• Schedule execution metrics
• Schedule Risk Assessment and Monte Carlo Analysis
• Critical Path Method and Float Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment.
• Intermediate expertise with Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project.
• Possession of a Scheduling Professional (SP) certification.
• Experience with Milestones Professional and utilizing MS Project Macros.
