Overview

Join a nationally recognized transportation insurance program as a strategic and operational leader. This high-visibility role is responsible for overseeing all facets of program administration and underwriting, with accountability for financial performance, service quality, and long-term growth initiatives. The Program Manager directs cross-functional teams and aligns departmental objectives to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.

How you'll make an impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Lead underwriting, financial, administrative, and data processing functions to meet established branch performance targets.
  • Strategic Leadership: Establish and execute both short- and long-term business plans. Monitor performance against strategic goals and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability.
  • Financial Accountability: Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across departments.
  • Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and manage team members. Ensure efficient resource allocation and staff alignment with program goals.
  • Project & Process Management: Ensure completion of operational initiatives and special projects. Coordinate with corporate teams to align efforts and maintain compliance.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Collaborate with sales leaders to develop marketing strategies. Provide guidance to ensure goals are met and aligned with branch priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key corporate stakeholders. Manage contractual documentation and ensure business continuity.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in transportation insurance program management
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance principles and practices, with emphasis on transportation risk
  • Strong financial acumen and operational expertise, with demonstrated success in P&L management
  • Proficiency in network systems and business technologies to support strategic decision-making
