A community mental health program is seeking a Program Manager to oversee its Personalized Recovery-Oriented Services (PROS) program. This leadership role involves full operational and clinical oversight of a multidisciplinary program serving adults with mental health conditions through rehabilitation, counseling, and care coordination services.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 40 per week
- Location: Onsite in Suffolk County
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the PROS program, ensuring quality service delivery across CRS, IR, ORS, and clinical components
- Implement standards of care and maintain program compliance with OMH and agency regulations
- Work collaboratively with Quality Management on internal audits and documentation reviews
- Supervise a team of clinical and support staff, conducting bi-weekly supervision and performance evaluations
- Provide staff training on documentation, service provision, and regulatory standards
- Approve timesheets, expense reports, and manage PTO requests
- Oversee documentation for collateral contact, phone calls, and incident reporting
- Develop and execute outreach and referral plans
- Monitor incident reporting practices and ensure timely submissions
- Conduct bi-annual safety inspections and follow up on any facility concerns
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Clinical experience in a Mental Health setting
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in a Supervisory role
- Strong familiarity with OMH regulations and PROS documentation requirements
- Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing
- Must pass background checks and obtain NYS OMH clearance
