Job DescriptionThe Planet Group is seeking a Program Manager to join one of our clients, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the emotional health and preventing suicide among teens and young adults.
- Hourly Pay: $30-$40/hr depending on experience
- Location: Remote in Tri-State area
Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop project scopes of work, timelines, and work plans in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Manage project teams (including staff, interns, and volunteers) to meet project goals and maintain project momentum.
- Oversee project activities including evaluation planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support budget discussions with the Finance team to ensure alignment with project goals and financial parameters.
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with project stakeholders and partners.
- Facilitate key project meetings and manage documentation, agendas, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with data analysts to support the analysis and dissemination of research findings.
- Ensure compliance with IRB and other regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot project challenges and provide solutions proactively.
Program Manager Qualifications:
- Master's degree in public administration, public health, or related field preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5.5 years of experience in project management within research or evaluation settings.
- Strong skills in data analysis, evaluation planning, and report writing.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with budgets ranging from $50k to $500k+.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and facilitation skills.
- Experience leading project teams and supervising staff.
