As a Program Manager II at Amazon.com Services LLC, you'll play a critical role in enhancing the customer experience relating to our fulfillment solutions. This position requires innovative thinking and the ability to manage projects and programs efficiently. Here's what you can expect:
- Identify, design, develop, and implement effective processes and solutions to optimize operational productivity.
- Drive program development efforts, prioritize projects, and ensure timely completion of operational initiatives.
- Develop schedules and communicate risks to stakeholders, while establishing risk mitigation strategies and collaborating on engineering solutions.
- Gather and evaluate system requirements aimed at simplifying tools to boost operational effectiveness.
- Analyze fulfillment channel performance to recommend strategies for improvement.
- Work closely with various departments to enhance integration with business systems and processes.
- Address challenges related to transportation, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
- Maintain comprehensive metrics, reports, and documentation to track key business performance indicators.
- Manage cross-functional teams and third-party vendors during project implementations.
- Establish and govern KPI reporting for a diverse portfolio of programs to ensure visibility and informed decision-making.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Program/Project Manager or in a related field.
- At least one year of experience managing operations projects from inception to execution for large-scale fulfillment solutions.
- Background in selection optimization and working with statistical analysis and data mining tools such as Excel, Tableau, or SQL.
- Experience in program management, including initiation, planning, execution, and delivery phases of projects.
- Exposure to business procurement in consumer market segments or supply chain/transportation operations.
Please note, this role may require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel. The position offers a competitive salary range in San Diego, CA of $107,453 - $129,800 per year, with the possibility of a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units as part of the compensation package.
