Job Description

This role will support a project currently under consideration. The responsibilities outlined are contingent upon contract award, ensuring readiness to execute the project effectively if the bid is successful. Candidates selected for this position will play a critical role in implementing project objectives upon award.

Location: Primary Place of Performance: Army Reserve Facility – Nord Hall, Anniston, Alabama (formerly Fort McClellan)

Reports to: TBD

Travel Required: While the primary place of performance is the Army Reserve Facility – Nord Hall (Anniston, AL), travel may be required.

Summary Description: Serves a dual role as contract Program Manager and Lead Instructor for Inspector Training. Responsible for contract execution and specialized instructional content related to Army inspections and readiness.

Description of Work: Oversees total performance of the Training Support Services contract while directly supporting the development and instruction of materials for Inspector Training. Coordinates staff, manages deliverables, and ensures compliance with all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage contract operations
  • Serve as government interface for all contract matters
  • Develop and instruct courses on inspection techniques and Army readiness requirements
  • Oversee curriculum alignment, staffing, and course execution

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree required or Master's degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification .

Experience: 7+ years of program or project management in a military training context, with inspection program experience

Technology Requirements: Proficiency with standard instructional platforms and Microsoft Office and the ability to manage data, reports, and documents related to contract deliverables and training metrics

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of Army inspection readiness processes
  • Demonstrated leadership in training environments
  • Ability to manage teams and mentor junior instructors
  • Strong communication, organization, and government liaison skills

Certifications:

  • PMP or Army equivalent desired
  • Must meet all contract security and training clearance requirements

Preferences ( but not required):

  • Experience developing and teaching Inspector General or Command Inspection Programs
  • Prior experience in an Army Readiness Division
