Program Manager
Nonprofit Residential Group Home

The responsibility of the Program Manager are to provide leadership and supervision to a program serving adults who are seeking to gain the skills for independent living and who have a psychiatric diagnosis. Duties include:
- Program oversight includes evaluation of client referrals, client admission, communication and collaboration with service providers and family members, and oversee service provisions that are client centered.
- Medicaid billable services, regulatory compliance, overseeing the group home is safe and comfortable, and overseeing the program budget.
- Staff training and development, leadership and supervision of 6-7 staff members including one Assistant Program Manager, in addition shared on-call for staff on a rotating basis.
- Oversight to ensure the group home is maintained in a safe and healthy manner with the assistance of the clients and the team.
- The Program Manager is located at the group home and provides direct services to the clients. The Program Manager mentors staff members in providing client-centered services by role modeling and teaching.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Provide transportation to clients using the agency's vehicles.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications for the Program Manager include:
- Bachelor's degree in human services and one year's experience in mental health, or Associate's degree in human services and three years' experience in mental health or high school diploma and five years' experience in mental health,
- 1 year's supervisory experience,
- Valid and insurable driver's license. Agency vehicles are available for transporting clients. Must have a personal vehicle to use for business purposes when not transporting clients.
- Experience with electronic records preferred,
- Experience or education in crisis intervention and prevention preferred,
- Strong leadership ability,
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and
- The ability to be organized, multitask, and have good time management skills.
Benefits
Salary and Schedule of the Program Manager:
- Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, rotating on-call.
- Salary is $2,500.00 biweekly: $65,000.00/annual equivalent.
