Program Manager - Actalent : Job Details

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for plastic injection molding and tooling projects. This role demands a strong understanding of injection mold design, manufacturing processes, materials, and production costs. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and production teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.

• Develop detailed cost estimates for plastic injection molds, tooling, and production molding, including materials, labor, and cycle times.
• Analyze RFQs, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and all internal departments to optimize manufacturing feasibility and efficiency.
• Evaluate supplier costs and maintain pricing databases.
• Provide timely cost breakdowns for both prototype and production phases.

• 4+ years working within the plastic injection molding industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Strong understanding of mold design, injection molding processes, and tooling materials.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
• Experience managing and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

The company serves a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, defense, industrial, and medical sectors.

The position operates on a first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 4 pm.

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Centreville, MI.
