LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nonprofit organization in Queens, NY on this permanent Program Manager opportunity. Position Title: Program Manager - Support Services Location: Queens, NY Position Summary: The Program Manager will oversee daily operations of several direct service programs including healthcare case management, grant-funded initiatives, food and nutrition services, and support groups. This role ensures that all services meet compliance standards, budget expectations, and quality outcomes. The Program Manager also plays a vital role in staff supervision, program growth, and cross-departmental collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program compliance, service quality, budget performance, and reporting requirements
- Assist in managing grants, revenue projections, and departmental budgeting
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff; provide clinical and administrative support
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and service planning
- Develop recruitment strategies to increase client enrollment
- Conduct quality assurance and improvement initiatives
- Update and maintain program materials and outreach tools
- Resolve service-related issues involving clients, providers, or community partners
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure holistic service delivery
- Submit timely internal and external reports
- Deliver staff training and represent the organization at external events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years in a related field (social work, human services, etc.)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with vulnerable or high-risk populations (e.g., mental illness, SUD, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+, immigrants)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with government-funded programs and reporting
- UAS-NY certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Bilingual (Spanish or Asian languages) is a plus
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed
Pay Details: $58,500.00 to $78,000.00 per year
