  • About the Role

    We are seeking multiple Program Managers to join a dedicated team working to improve the Medicaid program by reducing health disparities, advancing quality and health equity, and supporting the delivery of HRSN services.

    In this dynamic role, you will apply your expertise in health equity, project management, qualitative research, community engagement, and communications to facilitate regional needs assessment and planning activities. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, use quantitative and qualitative data to conduct gap analyses, and gather community input to inform regional health equity plans.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the internal director and regional liaisons to develop a structured project management approach.
  • Collect and analyze existing regional health equity and needs assessment resources to identify both community needs and strengths.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and publish regional needs assessments and gap analyses.
  • Ensure appropriate regional stakeholders have access to the project portal for sharing information, convening meetings, and gathering input.
  • Design and facilitate in-person and virtual stakeholder engagement sessions, including follow-up surveys and data collection.
  • Work closely with the director, administrator, and regional liaisons to manage portal content, communications, and action item requests.
  • Health Equity Planning:
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on the development and publication of regional health equity plans.
  • Work with internal colleagues specializing in data analysis, value-based payment recommendations, and public communications to support project goals.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in public health, healthcare program management, community engagement, or related fields.
  • Health Equity Lens: Strong understanding of health equity principles and demonstrated ability to apply them in work.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new project management tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, public policy, social work, communications, or a related field (equivalent professional/lived experience may substitute).
  • Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau or similar tools.
  • CRM & Stakeholder Management: Experience with relationship management software such as Salesforce.

    Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000

    *This position is externally funded and continued employment is contingent upon the ongoing availability of that funding. It is anticipated to continue through at least March 31, 2027.
