Through compassionate care and a person-centered approach, we aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.Position Overview:Residential Transitions, Inc. is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to oversee our Integrated Community Supports program. As the Program Manager, you will oversee clinical evaluations and staff at a designated program area, which primarily serves individuals with a severe mental illness diagnosis, developmental disabilities, and/or traumatic brain injuries. You will supervise and manage staff while ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards. This role requires you to engage directly with clients, conduct 1:1 meetings, and oversee both program and staff-related administrative duties. The Program Manager will report to the Regional Director and work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality services in a community-based setting. Travel to program sites across the Twin Cities metropolitan area is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided.Role Responsibilities:
- Staff Administrative Duties: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Mental Health Workers, providing professional feedback and managing performance.
- Client Interaction: Conduct 1:1 meetings with program participants, supporting their personal development and mental health progress.
- Program Oversight: Ensure that all program activities comply with state regulations, licensing requirements, and RTI policies.
- Crisis Management: Manage 24-hour emergency support services and provide intervention during mental health crises, utilizing non-violent crisis intervention techniques.
- Documentation & Reporting: Review participant progress, incident reports, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage program budgets, and handle purchases for program participants, including necessary client bills and paperwork.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with other programs to ensure integrated service delivery.
- On-Call Rotation: Be part of an on-call rotation to provide emergency support and supervision during after-hours or weekend crises, ensuring continuous care and assistance when needed.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- The Program Manager must minimally have:
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services; and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older OR
- Associate degree in a field related to human services; and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older OR
- Diploma from an accredited postsecondary institution in a field related to human services; and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older OR
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, under the supervision of a staff person who meets one of the above qualification combinations (Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma with required experience)
- Willingness to travel within the Metro Area, for applicable mileage reimbursements, with a current driver's license, clean record, and personal vehicle with insurance; and able to transport clients in that vehicle.
- A valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, satisfactory driving record, and auto insurance are required
- Must pass the required background check and remain eligible to provide services as defined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
- Must pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of the Inspector General to assure that person has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness, brain injuries, and/or developmental disabilities.
