Program Manager for Support Services Location: Queens, New York Salary: $58,500 - $78,000 DOE Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure overall compliance of programs assigned under the department of support services at Queens location such as service deliverable level, quality, budget, and reports.
- Assist the Associate and Assistant Director of Support services with grants management including to create the assigned projects under Support Services Department on revenue projection and expense budget.
- Recruit and hire program staff assigned.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff by chart review, face to face case discussion and performance reviews.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary meeting.
- Develop and execute recruitment and enrollment plan to increase client base for
- Support and manage staff to meet quality and quantitative requirements.
- Perform quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain and update educational and promotional materials.
- Troubleshoot any crisis with clients, medical providers, and mental health providers.
- Work closely with other programs and departments in the organization to ensure a high quality comprehensive continuum of services.
- Submit both external and internal reports on timely fashion.
- Implementing and providing Support Services related training to the staff.
- Actively participate in any organizational activities (meetings, events, etc.).
- Represent the agency at various venues to promote agency services.
- Performs other activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS relevant field with 5 years full time experience in relevant field required. May consider advanced degree in social work, human services, mental health or equivalent with 3 years of full-time experience.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience to paid staff preferred.
- Experience working with target populations strongly preferred. The target populations: individuals with Serious Mental Illness, Children and family, immigrant, developmental disabilities, serious substance use disorders (SUDs), chronic hepatitis, LGBT, high risk of or living with HIV/AIDS and/or Asians and Pacific Islanders.
- Appreciation of and commitment to mission and values.
- UAS-NY certification required within 3 months of hire.
- Familiarity with managing government funded contracts preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Asian languages a plus.
- Ability to perform public speaking and making presentations in a professional manner representing Community Health Center.
- Ability to use and adapt to various applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eCW, eICARE, AZARA, HCS, Healthix, MAPP, PSYCKES, etc) required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
