The F-35 Air Vehicle Modification Upgrades & Overhauls (MUO) Program Management team is responsible for fielding capabilities to the F-35 Fleet across the United States Services, our partner nations and FMS customers around the globe.
In this role, this Program Manager is responsible for managing the execution of performance-to-plan across all Lockheed Martin managed F-35 Depots and CFT Mod Sites; this includes Joint Program Office and other customer relationships, driving cross-site integration, budget allocations and subcontracting strategies, planning for future depot efforts, and leading Performance Improvement plans across a broad spectrum of F-35 global depot-level projects.
The PM must engage and build effective relationships with the customer base, depots, site leadership, functional teammates, domestic and international product support providers as well as other Lockheed Martin program teams to develop execution plans and deliver results.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an active Secret Clearance to start, with the ability to obtain higher level clearances as needed. This position is located at the Beach Street facility.
Some International and Domestic travel required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher education, or equivalent combination of education/work experience
• Experience in Operation Management and/or Depot Operations Management Techniques
• Program or Project Management background
• Familiarity with the activities of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Familiarity with DoD weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience working with US Navy/Marine Corps, US Air Force customers, and/or international customers
• Experience with program and project planning for Depot level Aircraft modifications & Sustainment
• Prior experience working with public and private sector MROU Industrial base
• Experience in process development, continuous improvement, Lean principals
• Familiarity with fiscal funding rules and requirements
• Experience with government acquisition and contract structure including cost plus and firm fixed price contracts
• Excellent communication skills and able to operate autonomously with minimal direction from senior management
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, develop creative solutions, and complete complex tasks on a schedule with little oversight
• Ability to develop & use data and data science applications to drive informed business decisions

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
