About the team and role:The Global Fashion team is one of eBay's most strategic and innovative categories, spanning apparel, sneakers, watches, handbags, and jewelry. We are building the future of circular fashion- making it easier for brands, sellers, and customers to engage in sustainable commerce. The Alternative Inventory team is responsible for unlocking new supply models on eBay that go beyond traditional selling- starting with consignment and expanding into new ways of powering recommerce at scale.
As Program Manager, Alternative Inventory, you will lead the planning, execution, and operational scaling of programs that bring new inventory models to life- with an immediate focus on consignment. This role requires a program leader who thrives in building from the ground up, loves working across teams, and can operationalize complex programs into scalable solutions.
You will drive highly visible initiatives that help eBay Fashion grow its inventory selection, improve customer trust, and enhance the buying and selling experience for circular products.
What You'll DoLead the end-to-end execution of eBay's fashion consignment programs- from pilot to scale
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Operations, Shipping, Category, Legal, Analytics, and Trust teams to build and launch new capabilities
Support future expansion of alternative inventory models beyond consignment (e.g., trade-in, vendor-managed inventory, or recommerce partnerships)
Identify operational risks, process gaps, and scaling challenges- and lead problem-solving to resolution
Develop clear and effective program plans, operating models, and performance tracking frameworks
Communicate program updates, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
Ensure all initiatives deliver a best-in-class customer experience rooted in trust, convenience, and sustainability
6+ years of program or project management experience in ecommerce, retail operations, supply chain, or related industries
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs from concept to execution
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
Experience with marketplace platforms, consignment models, or recommerce
Passion for fashion, sustainability, and driving innovation within the circular economy
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience required

The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below:
$140,800 - $188,000The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below:
$101,200 - $174,100Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
