Program Director / Open Rank Clinical Faculty – Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Health Sciences - Texas State University : Job Details

Texas State University invites applicants for an inaugural Program Director for a Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in the College of Health Professions. The Program Director will develop the program in collaboration with the faculty and seek accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Medical Diagnostic Sonography. The program is tentatively slated to begin in Fall 2026 with its first cohort of students and faculty. This is a full-time 9-month position with summer employment, a non-tenured line Clinical Open Rank faculty appointment, and includes teaching and service responsibilities with release time provided for administrative duties.
