Career Team is looking to hire a Program Director who is responsible for managing and supervising staff and overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the Pathways for Access to Careers and Employment Workforce Development Program (PACE) contract, including performance and goals, quality of service, contractual commitments, and program vision. The approach of the PACE Program emphasizes that there is no one-size-fits-all solution for clients needing education and or training support. In this role, the individual will utilize a working knowledge of PACE, Workforce Development, and TANF protocols, which include a basic understanding of the field, core programs, and business plans. As a leader and member of the Corporate Management Team, the Program Director is accountable for ensuring quality and integrity across PACE functions. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

- Drive performance and placement outcomes
- Lead the team in taking a dynamic, human-centered approach to service delivery
- Partner with the local Workforce Development Board to meet local area needs and build community awareness
- Serve as the primary local contact and contract liaison with the funder and other agencies
- Develop and execute a local staffing plan
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Focus on expenditure rates, driving metrics, and performance
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of policies and procedures for continuous improvement
- Lead a team of high-functioning employees to execute program initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to incorporate a focus on performance objectives
- Ensure accurate and thorough completion of required documentation
- Approach each day and task with a ZAG mindset
- Other duties and projects as needed
The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, community organization or workforce development
- Experience in a leadership role in an adult learning, workforce development, career training, employment placement, or other related employment services field
- 5+ years of experience in operations, business, marketing, public relations, education, and/or human and/or workforce development services
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred
- Strong ability to utilize strategic planning skills
- Understanding of technical support underlying issues related to client problems
- Knowledgeable about TANF and programs similar to PACE, along with other workforce program requirements
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to lead a team with different working styles
- Ability to successfully manage a diverse and heavy workload
- Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, training platforms, and case management or client relations software applications
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Training in trauma-informed care, evidence-based practice, and/or whole family services
- Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners
- A Valid Driver's License
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000/year
Travel: The position may require local travel up to 15-20% of the time
