Concern Housing is seeking a Program Director responsible for program development, operations, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Oversee daily operations of SP-SRO building, supervise social service staff and administrative staff, coordinate with superintendent and maintenance.
  • Manage personnel including hiring, disciplinary actions, supervision, and staff meetings.
  • Handle intake procedures, applicant screening, and reporting to authorities, maintaining occupancy rates above 95%.
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC and Section 8 regulations with the Housing Compliance Department.
  • Coordinate with property management and accounting for site maintenance, safety, rental payments, and tenant support.
  • Oversee procurement within contractual guidelines.
  • Collaborate with St. James Episcopal Church for space use and activities.
  • Provide crisis intervention, including 24/7 coverage.
  • Conduct needs assessments, monitor health outcomes, and ensure quality assurance.
  • Train and evaluate staff, promote professional development.
  • Manage community relations, promote programs, and foster positive neighborhood interactions.
  • Work with hospitals and community providers for outreach and coordination.
  • Collaborate with DOHMH for program transition and rehabilitation of special needs tenants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Executive Director.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000.

Position Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in residential settings with similar populations.
  • At least 3 years supervisory experience or training.
  • LIHTC experience preferred.
