Program Director, Community School PS 213 - GOOD SHEPHERD SERVICES : Job Details

The Community School Director will oversee all aspects of the development and execution of the P. S. 213 Community School model. Working from a strength-based foundation, the GSS youth and family development model addresses the engagement and achievement needs of students with the goal of achieving consistent educational focus and progress. This position requires oversight of in-school program operations, including individual, family and group counseling, and family engagement activities. The Director will continually assess the needs of the school, and coordinate internal and external resources to meet those needs. Major Duties: Oversee the development and implementation of the Community School model at PS 213. Work with the Principal and school leadership to maintain a focus on results and tracking progress. Identify high needs students, coordinate with teachers to target interventions, and track and monitor impact of interventions.
