Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst- Level 3 (Principal) , to join our Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Missile Defense Systems team in Colorado Springs, CO or Boulder, CO location. In this job, you will:
- Setting up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
- Performing analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated values
- Preparing and reporting Northrop Grumman Financials; AOP/LRSP development and quarterly EACs
- Preparing budgets and schedules for contract and NCTA work and performing or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
- Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the customer
- Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of industry related experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of industry related experience
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis experience
- Experience with financial analysis and Earned Value Management (EVM) customer reporting
- Experience with SAP ERP, Cognos reporting, ProPricer, and/or PowerBI
- Program cost control experience
- Experience with Cobra and SAP
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR
- No clearance required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- Advanced Excel Techniques (i.e. v/h lookups, pivot tables, VBA/Macros)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and analyze data
- Experience preparing and presenting complex financial analysis to leadership
- Experience with GAAP, as well as Government Financial accounting practices
- Department of Defense (DoD) experience
- Secret security clearance
