Who We Are
The Coding School (TCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on preparing the next generation for the future of work through computer science training and workforce development. As pioneers in emerging technology education, we believe there is a critical - and unmet - need to provide students with the skills and knowledge in the technologies that will change the nature of how we conduct business, how we interact and connect, and society at large. We have a wide portfolio of initiatives, including flagship programs in Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data. To date, we have taught over 40,000 students from 125 countries, including K-12 students and educators, community college and university students, and members of the workforce.
What We're Looking For
TCS is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist in the execution and growth of TCS educational programs. This role will work closely with TCS Program Managers to help manage, evaluate and expand TCS programs, including our Quantum Computing program, Qubit x Qubit, and Artificial Intelligence program, TRAIN. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the development and execution of a subset of TCS programs. Programs range from in-person AI camps for 30 middle school students to $1+ million programs that reach 10,000+ student cohorts. The Program Coordinator will support the Program team s day-to-day operations, including hiring instructors and teaching assistants; conducting student recruitment; setting up technology; student selection and onboarding; conducting outreach to potential TCS partners; and working with the Curriculum teams to ensure curriculum is effective. The position does include evening and weekend work, and may include occasional travel. TCS prides itself on the high-quality nature of its programs; thus, the Program Coordinator must be detail oriented, organized, and always thinking about how to improve the programs.
