GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the direct supervision of the ICF/IRA Program Director, the OPWDD Program Coordinator will ensure successful operations of the ICF/IRA programs aligned with regulatory requirements federal/state/county governing bodies. The Program Coordinator will act in accordance with the agency's mission and value statement concomitantly performing job responsibilities with the highest level of professionalism and enthusiasm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Function as a QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional) or as assigned by the ICF/IRA Program Director
Provide highest quality of care to the Individuals serviced within the ICF/IRA programs; Fully understand the person-centered approach and recovery-based model; Actively and positively communicate agency philosophy, administrative decisions, etc. to all employees in a timely and professional manner
Ensure adequate supervision and staffing of each assigned location based on minimum staffing ratios and specific needs of the Individuals.
Oversee and provide supportive direction to Residential Managers, Assistant Managers and all staff through implementation of training, role-modeling, and structured oversight.
Mediate emergency program needs- deploying of staff, handling of crisis in an effective and efficient way; Communicate with Program Director and other involved team members
Coordinate linkages to treatment, care coordination, day activities, and other meaningful resources to enhance quality of life.
Actively participate in the admissions/discharge process, as well as all team meetings (CFA/ITT/OTHER); Evaluate, and/or modify progress or lack thereof and oversee implementation of revised goal/treatment planning
Available on-call 24/7; Arranges schedule to meet the needs of the program
Partake in the interviewing, hiring, and training of all team members
Supervise and approve employee hours including time cards, requests for time off, monitoring of overtime, and hours worked according to agency policy and procedures.
Oversee completion of critical billing documentation coupled with associated required documentation; address areas of concern; submit records in a meticulous and timely manner.
Review documentation of Individuals' progress on a random basis and ensure the documentation is complete and up to date; ensure that follow up occurs as necessary.
Conduct regular audits of Individual records, and site-based documents (fire evac. Plans, community meetings, communication logs, smoke detector checks, etc.) according to established policies and procedures- aligned with Regulatory requirements.

Act in the capacity of the Residential Manager, when absent- ensuring site continues to run efficiently
Confirm safety and cleanliness of the physical plant of all assigned locations whilst capturing a home-like atmosphere
Adhere to mandate policy regarding reporting of incidents as outlined in OPWDD Justice Center reporting definitions plus established program processes
Conduct routine financial audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and accuracy of every transaction
Monitor recreational activities and participation; present suggestions and ideas; assist in implementation of recreational events
Manage time effectively;
Work collaboratively with all members of agency; BIS, Nursing, Intake, Benefits, Accounting, QI, HR, etc.
Attend all mandatory meetings- being prepared and presenting information in a thorough way; Lead monthly Managers' meetings in the absence of the Program Director; Design Managers' meeting agendas in collaboration with Program Director
Track Program Training compliance; Utilize conversation forms and initiate progressive disciplinary policy when applicable
Invest in and retain valuable team members
Participate in internal QI support visits, as well as external surveys/audits; review plans of corrective actions and follow through on all recommendations.
Join in State, Regional, and Local planning, Training and Advocacy opportunities, along with internal strategic planning/IRC committees as Requested by Program Director

Qualifications
Three years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilitiesANDis a human services professional possessing at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, and rehabilitation counseling or psychology.
