FranklinAcademic Alliance program. Collects necessary information to track the successof basic outcomes, processes and procedures to support the on-going analysisand improvement of program efforts. Works with management to communicate and implement the priorities of theprogram and College. Leverages a soundunderstanding of the program focus to collaboratively work with colleagues toachieve goals of the program, department, division and College. Contributes to the continued effectiveness ofthe team and department by developing and sustaining productive customer andemployee relationships. Provides administrativeassistance to supervisor as needed. ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Positively responds to student requests in a timely manner with strong emphasis on outstanding customer service
- Collaborates with Program Manager, FMF Academic Alliance to develop appropriate schedule of courses for program
- Actively participates in the successful delivery of direct student support through mentoring students and reviewing scholarship applications
- Maintains on-going communication with students and other stakeholders about the program and maintains program materials to promote program
- Communicates regularly with departmental leadership to report important information, occurrences and issues within the program
- Attends staff and project team meetings and provides follow-up on meeting outcomes including tracking resulting activities and projects
- Prepares and maintains confidential correspondence and documents and assists in processing documents related to students, employees, and program budget
- Greets visitors, answers phones and screens incoming calls and mail; responds independently to inquiries, drafts responses for leadership review or refers as appropriate
- Develops strong working relationships with key departments and employees across the College and in the community
- Establishes and maintains general office files and records
- Manages preparation of reports, presentations and publications, including research, writing, copy-editing, and institutional program review
- Maintains the program website, ensuring materials are up to date and information is organized and accessible
- Coordinates annual Frances M. Franklin Scholarship Luncheon
- Assists with other College-wide projects, initiatives and committees as assigned
- Assists in the development and submitting of yearly departmental budgets
- May select, train, supervise and evaluate part-time student assistants, interns and part-time assistants
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- Associate degree in related field
- Significant related experience may substitute for education
- Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated full-time experience working with a student serving role

- The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment.

- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.

Target Starting Salary Range: $43,000 to $48,000 The final offer for the successful candidateis targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment ofinternal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate'squalifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred jobrequirement(s).
