Job Description :
Description The Delta Eats Program Coordinator will provide hands-on oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Delta Eats Program at the designated sites. This individual will ensure adequate access to program services, promotion of events/activities, and coordination with the evaluation component of research programs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Community Food Systems, Agriculture Econ, Public Health or also Food Science.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently toward goals and timeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables with assistance of department leadership.
  • Implement and monitor assigned projects and timelines.
  • Research and recommend best practices.
  • Represent the DHA in community activities and develop a positive working relationship with DHA partners.
  • Conduct reviews of projects by gathering and analyzing information, developing written summaries of issues, proposing recommendations, and developing plans for problem resolution.
  • Use reporting systems to evaluate program outcomes.
  • Identify additional collaborative opportunities with DHA partners.
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress.
  • Supervise the work and efforts of the program staff.
  • Manage volunteers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
