Responsibilities:
Oversees and coordinates program activities. Establishes, selects, implements, and coordinates administrative functions, procedures, and systems.Based on knowledge of and experience with program activities, objectives, and staff, serves as principal source of information on policies, procedures, programs, and office activities. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with internal and external contacts.Processes and monitors expenses and ensures adherence to budgetary guidelines. Prepares budget drafts based on existing budgets. May oversee, coordinate, and/or complete applications and materials needed for grant submission.Composes substantive correspondence and written material. Determines sources of data. Compiles, synthesizes, and manipulates data. Summarizes findings and writes, produces, and distributes reports or portions of reports. May create simple databases.Provides editorial support for a journal/publication. Proofreads and edits material for grammatical and factual accuracy. Tracks copy through various editing and production stages. Communicates with authors, printers, and others concerned with published work.Oversees, instructs, and coordinates activities of support staff.Ensures compliance with University, Federal, and State guidelines, rules, and regulations.May perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills:

Ability to create and adhere to event budgets and timelines. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential subject matter with discretion.Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated highly proficient skills in computer applications, including MS Office Suite. Ability to use EventBrite and Zoom. Knowledge of mail merge procedures. Ability and willingness to learn and work with new technology and programs, including the Program's event calendar system.Superior interpersonal skills and ability to relate comfortably and knowledgeably with dignitaries, leaders, faculty, students, and staff with a highly professional demeanor and strong customer service skills. Sensitivity to and ability to maintain confidentiality of information and materials.Preferred Education: Demonstrated ability and flexibility in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and complex environment to manage multiple, time-sensitive assignments with minimal supervision. Ability to independently prioritize work with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Highly motivated and creative, with a positive, can-do attitude.
Work Week: Standard (M-F equal number of hours per day)
