Job Description :
Overview This position provides programmatic data collection efforts to support routine data reporting. More specifically, this position assists in the coordination and development of program reports for university and accreditation efforts, admission /retention, grants, research projects, and general program and college data needs. Provides essential coordination for recruitment and retention efforts. Responsibilities Specific tasks include but are not limited to: General Data Collection and Management
  • Designs, manages, and maintains a comprehensive program information resource, ensuring consistency and integrity of data; oversees collection and reporting of data related to admissions, graduation, alumni, course evaluation and all other relevant data collected on a regular basis.
  • Coordinates with other campus departments to retrieve the data relevant to admissions, graduation, and alumni.
Academic Progress
  • Creates/maintains records of student progress, concentrations, capstone, CPH, field study schedule and demographic information
  • Monitors student progress through regular audits in Degree Works and liaises with the Registrar's Office
  • Communicates and notifies students of course registration and academic planning
  • Updates academic planning forms
  • Coordinates events and time-line (e.g. information sessions on concentration choices, CPH vs Capstone, town hall meetings)
  • General point of contact and liaison for students
Reporting: Summarizes and highlight skey findings within regular/periodic reports, presentations, and newsletters. Coordinates data collection and analyses for the following reports and program needs:
  • CEPH: Annual report
  • ASPPH: Annual report
  • ISLO: Annual report
  • Program Review report
  • Entrance surveys
  • Alumni surveys
  • Faculty and Staff Research report
  • Course evaluation surveys
  • Monitors Qualtrics Advisor forms
Recruitment
  • Primary contact for Hubspot
  • Contact prospective students (obtained from TUN & TUC interview lists) via regular emails
  • (Schedule class visit opportunities, prospective student info sessions, participation in special events eg SJ Lectures, Capstone presentations)
  • Monitors prospective student application progress
  • Member: Recruitment Committee w/ Admissions, Dean's Office, Advancement, PH
  • Member: TUN/TUC PH Committee
  • Participation with Office of Admissions in relevant Recruitment Fairs
New Student Orientation:
  • On-boarding all incoming PH students
  • Handbook: Reviews, edits, updates Student Handbook
  • Designates faculty advisors for all incoming students
Canvas (Work Study): Creates & monitors TUC MPH Program Assignments Canvas organization for the following: Plagiarism, Conduct, Human Research, Concentration declaration, Culminating experience declaration, Professionalism, Cultural Diversity, and Global Cultural Competency
  • Manages student compliance for Canvas organization
  • Reports on students' status vis a vis Canvas MPH Program Assignments
  • Ensures accurate creation of Canvas courses
Registrar
  • Creates and submits PH course inventories 3 times a year
  • Ensures all students are registered for correct courses through review of courses in TouroOne and contact students (Check with Ron to see if/will faculty get access)
  • Generates, submits, monitors: add/drop forms, grade change forms, LOA forms, PTR forms
Community and Publicity
  • Co-Coordinates all PH Program events, including: Social Justice Series, PH Program orientations (twice per year), annual graduation, luncheons, program retreats and all student related event activities.
  • Creates and maintains community contacts list
  • Creates and maintains university and colleges lists
  • Publicizes special events - external (Social Justice Series, Capstone, etc)
  • APHA: Coordinates Program participation in annual conference
Commencement
  • Monitors students' progress towards completion of degree
  • Liaises with Registrar, PA, COM, COP
  • Contact students re: completion progress, submission of graduation application and all Commencement details
  • Communicates with Registrar, Communications, Student Affairs on all details of Commencement

  • Some college experience required; bachelor's degree desired.
Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in academic program administration, higher education, or data management.
  • Experience with data collection, reporting, and database management.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with database systems and student information systems (e.g., Degree Works, TouroOne, Qualtrics).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Maximum Salary USD $80,242.31/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $78,000.00/Yr.
