Glimpse of the Job. This temporary Program Aide will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of a new upgraded CMS detector and the analysis of the CMS data. Opportunities to Contribute: Install and commission an upgraded CMS detector. Analyze CMS data. Analyze research and summarize results by publishing in peer-reviewed journals and through conferences and committee participation. Mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Qualifications: Master's in Physics. A well-qualified candidate will also possess: Data analysis at a major high energy physics experiment, software development, statistical methods. Experience developing or commissioning detector hardware and electronics. Computing and software skills in C , python.
