Program Administrator Education & Community Outreach

Location: Long Beach, CA (On-site)

Pay Rate: $22.50 $24.02/hr

Schedule: MondayFriday, flexible start (8:0010:00 AM), full-time

Type: Temp-to-Hire (90-day evaluation period)

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

Join a mission-driven organization supporting inclusive education initiatives! Were seeking a Program Administrator to support school and community engagement efforts, with a focus on data tracking, grant reporting, and program coordination. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and excited by the impact of inclusive programs in schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data & Compliance: Manage grant-related data entry, track invoices, support reporting, and maintain program databases and applications.
  • Program Support: Assist with school program initiatives, distribute materials, manage inventory, and support internal communications like newsletters and website updates.
  • Community Outreach: Represent the program at events and collaborate with schools, youth organizations, and local partners to grow awareness and participation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with staff to streamline communication, plan events, manage social media, and support administrative needs.
  • Volunteer & Asset Management: Supervise interns/volunteers, maintain supplies, and support special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in administration, nonprofit, or education
  • 23 years experience in project coordination, data tracking, or grant reporting
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva
  • Self-starter who thrives in collaborative and independent work
  • Experience with or enthusiasm for serving individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Valid CA drivers license and ability to lift up to 24 lbs occasionally
