\n\nResponsibilities:
\nApply evidence-based practice and research to improve clinical care and influence patient outcomes.
\nCollaborate fully as a member of the care team, providing assistance and partnership when needed.
\nDevelop and implement individualized, patient-centered care plans using the nursing process and Relationship Based Care principles.
\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners, demonstrating accountability, enthusiasm, and cultural sensitivity.
\nModel healthy work-life balance, safe work hours, and report safety hazards promptly.
\nEducate patients, families, students, and new staff using adult learning principles to support care and smooth transitions.
\nServe as a preceptor and foster a culture of open communication and continuous learning.
\nIdentify and address clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual needs through critical thinking and effective communication.
\nMaintain thorough documentation that facilitates clear communication among care providers.
\nParticipate actively in shared governance, unit goal setting, and support change initiatives to improve care quality and work environment.
\nEngage in unit-based quality improvement projects by identifying opportunities and promoting patient satisfaction.
\nRN experience preferred.
\nOB experience strongly preferred.
\nCapable of working effectively in a complex environment with multiple priorities and specialized equipment.
\nStrong clinical judgment, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
\nPhysical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
\n*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
