Responsibilities

The Professional Liability Adjuster is responsible for conducting office investigations and adjusting Professional liability and Error & Omission claims.The Adjuster is also responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Investigating losses and identifying coverage issues
  • Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and medical records
  • Establishing damages and reserves
  • Processing payments
  • Taking statements from insured's, claimants, and witnesses
  • Participating in Mediations

Salary Range

$100,000.00 - $160,000.00 USD

The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.

Qualifications
  • Active attorney license with at least 5 years of professional liability experience
  • Prior experience adjusting Professional Liability and Error & Omission Claims
  • Experience with Legal Malpractice preferred
  • Active Adjuster license is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
