HOURLY RATE : $19.00 / hr

Period of Appointment : August 1st, 2025, through June 30th, 2026

May work between 20 to 40 hours per week

Hours : 4-5 days a week, working for a maximum of 3-4 hours daily.

Professional experts may not work more than 900 hours during the appointment.

Overtime is not allowed.

The Foundation seeks a professional expert to serve as a Foundation Student Programs Lead for the following scholarship programs :

  • Pasadena Community Foundation Scholars - coordinate with PCF director and facilitate bookstore vouchers, emergency funds purchases, and student follow-up
  • Ann Peppers Scholars - educational advisor, fiscal support, and general programming for the cohorts; develop meeting schedule, social events, and Summer Intensive Career Planning Institute with Freeman Center.
  • Hixon Teacher Preparation Program - support the current Program Coordinator on errands and tasks related to this academic program
  • General Support of other Foundation Programs as delegated by the Director of Programs and Alumni Engagement

Required Qualifications :

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in education, social studies, or another related field
  • Experience working with traditional college-aged students in an advisory or coaching capacity
  • General understanding of various student development theories (Chickering's Seven Vectors, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Sanford's Challenge and Support, Tinto's Student Integration, etc.)

Desired Qualifications :

  • Currently working on a master's degree in student affairs, Counseling, or other degree related to Higher Education
  • Previous experience working at PCC in another student-facing position
