Professional Development Specialist Position Summary The Professional Development Specialist for Graduate Medical Education (GME) will design, implement, and evaluate targeted professional development programs, workshops and training series aimed at advancing GME leadership, educational excellence, and administrative effectiveness. Working closely with leadership, faculty, and staff, the Specialist will provide training opportunities, workshops, and resources that align with ACGME standards and foster continuous improvement in clinical education. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical education, adult learning theory, and GME policies, with the ability to facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other professional development opportunities. The Professional Development Specialist will work collaboratively with GME leaders and stakeholders to deliver high-quality training that aligns with ACGME standards and promotes the success of each program. Professional Development Specialist Position Requirements Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required, (Master's preferred).
Experience
  • Experience in curriculum design and instructional delivery.
  • Experience in using educational technology, such as learning management systems (LMS) and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Graduate Medical Education, medical education leadership, or professional development preferred.
  • Understanding of ACGME accreditation standards and GME policies preferred.
Professional Development Specialist Schedule
  • Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday
  • Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
Professional Development Specialist Benefits
  • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range:$55,993.60-$86,777.60 Commensurate with experience
