Sidel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to be embedded at a client's facility in Denver, Colorado, for a dedicated 12 to 18 months assignment. Responsibilities include performing quality testing and commissioning of new aseptic equipment, providing service, maintenance, CIL, and troubleshooting of Sidel equipment onsite. The candidate must relocate near the plant, work closely with the customer staff, and perform safety, food safety, maintenance coaching, CIL activities, routine maintenance, data analysis, and troubleshooting. The goal is to transfer knowledge to the customer staff to achieve autonomous operation by the end of the assignment.
Your Mission
- Apply, coach, and monitor safety requirements (plant specifics, LOTO, GMPs, HSES)
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and recommend sustainable solutions to enhance OEE
- Support and coach operators and maintenance staff to improve competencies
- Assist with operational activities, changeovers, and line conversions
- Support maintenance activities including CIL and SOPs
- Develop and implement One Point Lessons (OPL) with the customer
- Coach customer staff in production and maintenance operations
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities
- Assist with root cause analysis and breakdown analysis
- Use Sidel data acquisition systems to identify actions for line improvement
- Provide recommendations on spare parts management
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or associate degree in mechanics, automation, maintenance, or mechatronics
- Experience in the beverage or packaging industry; aseptic environment experience is essential
- Minimum of 3 years in field or plant maintenance
- Technical expertise in mechanical, automation, electrical systems; coaching skills
- Fluent in English; Spanish, Italian, or French is a plus
- Availability to travel at the start of the assignment, including international travel for training
