Production Worker - GDI : Job Details

GDI Services, Inc., provides manufacturing and industrial, distribution, healthcare and educational facilities with the highest quality services and we are in need of Production workers for a factory located in Jackson, TN.Pay: $16.50 per hour 1st shift 6a-6:30p $17.00 per hour 2nd shift 6p-6:30aResponsibilities:Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products as they pass down the conveyor line.Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers or areas. Add supplemental product in order to bring original product into specifications.Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issuesRotate through various positions on the Appetizer lineMay be directed to help out in other areas of the plant as required by production demandsMaintain a safe and clean work areaMaintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practicesMust wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as providedPerform other duties and assignments as requiredSkills/Qualifications:Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skillMaintain composure, continuity, control and efficiency while performing many functions which change in terms of natureAble to work in situations that require tact, diplomacy, firmness, good judgement, responsibility and fairnessAble to complete tasksLift and carry 50 poundsPerform repetitive tasks with attention to detailHand dexterity and eye, hand coordinationAble to climb stairs and laddersMust be able to bend & stoop and walk & stand for extended time periodsEqual Opportunity Employer:GDI, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
