Production Worker - All Shifts - Doherty Staffing : Job Details

Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a leading supplier in the food production industry located in Fosston, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Production Worker role on all shifts. Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $18.50-$20.50 per hour, depending on shift and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What Youll Do As A Production Worker:

• Complete visual inspection of the raw product on the conveyor and pick out major defects in the product
• Responsible for keeping the conveyors, cutters, surge hoppers, floor, front, north, and south sides of the dryer to C stage free from product buildup
• Sanitize all process equipment via procedures established by the quality
• Mix chemicals and/or additives required for the process
• Responsible for consistent product flow from holding bins to steam peelers
• Ensure the working area around the steam peeler remains clean and free from debris, including the floor, flumes, conveyors, bins, equipment, and wastewater areas
• Inspect rock traps and document findings
• Responsible for recording the required information on paperwork
• Ensure all equipment from the end of the dryer is functioning properly and the product is flowing smoothly
• Visually monitor the metal detector and notify the Quality Assurance shift worker if the metal detector rejects any product

What Youll Bring To The Production Worker Role:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers or other employees of the organization
• Ability to add and subtract two or three-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10s and 100s and perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to operate bag sealer, pallet wrapper, weight hopper, weigh scale, forklift, pallet jack, and grinding mills
