Toyota's Production Control Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Volume Planning Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop operation plans for unit manufacturing (Stamping, Weld Unit, and Plastics) to meet all customers' demands. TMMK is a supplier to other NAMC's and tier 2 suppliers. The Product Volume Planning Analyst is responsible for monitoring production results and processing customer orders using SAP. Reporting to the Production Control IHP & Non-vehicle Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Control department's objective to support manufacturing to supply customers with unit parts. This position is based in Georgetown, KY. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location.

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating operation plans for unit manufacturing (Stamping, Weld Unit, or Plastics).
  • Processing customer daily/weekly/monthly orders to ensure demand is met.
  • Managing model change activities with unit manufacturing for each customer, including trials, build-out, and start-up, with zero impact on production and customers.
  • Maintaining the SAP system regarding bill of materials and order processing.
  • Developing, visualizing, and monitoring KPIs, operating procedures, and project schedules.
  • Coordinating die disposal and/or die transfer, including part investigation, meeting facilitation, meeting minutes, project status reporting to management, and master schedule creation and tracking.
  • Conducting daily inventory confirmation of unit manufacturing parts to support customer demands.
  • Tracking Build Ahead Projects.
  • Serving as a liaison between shops for customer demand.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher or equivalent professional experience in Production Control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Direct working experience in volume planning and production management at a NAMC, TMNA, or affiliate.
  • Working knowledge of SAP as it pertains to customer orders, including running reports, reviewing data, and presenting findings.
  • Experience and basic understanding of Toyota Way Principles of problem-solving (including TPS, TBP, Hoshin, OJD, JIT).
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel domestically less than 10% of the time.

Added bonus if you have:

  • TBP through panel phase.
  • A background in Data or Inventory Analysis, including experience in statistical methods or inventory management.
  • Experience in a project leadership role, demonstrating skills in developing, leading, prioritizing work, meeting milestones, gaining consensus, and reporting status.
