Production Trainee - Owens Corning : Job Details

Tend production lines and interact with equipment using HMI/ PLC interfaces Safely operate a forklift Accurately perform board quality inspections Accurately measure objects using a standard tape measure, six-inch scale, and digital caliper Accurately enter information into multiple databases Operate unit wrapper and perform all associated tasks Operate board grinders and prepare and feed scrap products Operate compactor equipment and associated tasks Properly set up and operate cutting machine Operate printer equipment and bar code machine Operate a tow motor and obtain license Learn and comply with all Owens Corning safety policies along with all other plant rules Maintain a clean, orderly work area that is in compliance with 5 S standards Maintain high level of attendance All other duties as assigned or needed Skills and Abilities Good mechanical aptitude Ability to do basic mathematical calculations Must be able to read a scale and tape measure Ability to accomplish tasks without d...Production, Trainee, Manufacturing
