Polymer Production TechnicianLocation: Pasadena, CA Shift: 1st Shift Pay Range: $24-27/hrEastridge has partnered with an early-stage technology start-up dedicated to developing globally scalable carbon removal solutions to support a sustainable future for the world's climate.We are seeking a Polymer Production Technician to join the team in Pasadena, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesRun polymer production batches according to established SOPs.Operate and monitor large reactors (up to 500 liters) safely and efficiently.Conduct quality control testing on polymer batches to ensure product meets specifications.Clean and maintain production equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent contamination.Safely handle solvents and work in a hazardous chemical environment, following strict safety guidelines.Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, test results, and materials used.Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.Ability to work extended days (up to 12-hour shifts, e.g., 7 AM-7 PM or split shifts) as needed.Willingness to work up to two weekends per month if required.QualificationsPrior experience working in a chemical or polymer production environment is preferred.Comfortable working with large reactors up to 500 liters.Hands-on experience operating chemical processes and equipment.Familiarity with handling hazardous chemicals and following safety protocols.Ability to follow written procedures and accurately document production activities.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.Good written and verbal communication skills in English.Benefits: Use this link bit.ly/4cGUQSh to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge's temporary employees.From time to time Eastridge's clients may offer additional benefits to Eastridge employees while on assignment.Information about those benefits will be communicated when applicable.Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
