Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to join our manufacturing team, reporting to the Production Supervisor. Your role will involve supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing area. You should have excellent communication skills, enjoy teamwork, and have a keen eye for detail to work under tight deadlines. You and the team will ensure our products meet high standards. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Observe safety procedures and adhere to applicable codes and guidelines.
  • Utilize work orders and instructions to build and test subassemblies and assemblies.
  • Operate manufacturing tools and equipment for electro-mechanical assembly, inspection, and documentation.
  • Use measurement tools, gauges, test fixtures, Hipot, and other electronic measurement and pressure test equipment.
  • Interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals, and documentation.
  • Be willing to be trained and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and ergonomic lift devices.
  • Enter data on a computer regarding work progress, quality, and labor details.
  • Perform audits to ensure parts are available and defect-free.
  • Identify and escalate non-conformance or quality issues promptly.
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement processes.
Key Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience with electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Experience in manufacturing or military environments; automotive assembly is a plus.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and work with heavy equipment.
  • Comfort working around fixed equipment, machinery, lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Willingness to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to work at heights of ten feet or higher using ladders or high structures.
  • Experience with cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • Experience with high-temperature, high-power industrial systems.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (desired).
  • Proficiency in welding techniques and maintaining welding equipment.

Work Location: Onsite - San Jose, CA

Salary Range: $30/hr - $38/hr + shift differential

Salary Basis: Hourly
