Production Support Worker

A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is searching for multiple Production Support Workers on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves working in one of two departments, each with its own unique characteristics and demands.

Responsibilities

• Manually load raw materials into hoppers from barrels or totes.
• Conduct visual inspections of finished materials.
• Physically push full carts of containers.
• Pull, push, and pack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ensure product and packaging meet customer specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation of materials and batch numbers.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and assembly line work.
• Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• At least 1 year of job tenure in work history.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable with chemical and paint smells.
• Ability to work in hot, dirty, and oily environments.

Work Environment

The position is based in a 1 million square foot facility, where workers should be comfortable working in hot, dirty, and oily conditions. Training takes place over a 12- to 15-week period on the 1st shift, before transitioning to either 2nd or 3rd shift. Overtime may be required with advanced notice.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.
