SUMMARY

The Production Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting manufacturing and inventory operations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by setting and adjusting safety stock thresholds. Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and investigate variances. Support inventory audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Set up new item numbers in the system without purchase requestions when necessary. Ensure all relevant data-such as descriptions, units of measure, and classifications are accurately entered and maintained.

  • Review and finalize manufacturing orders in the system. Ensure all components and labor are correctly accounted for, and close orders in a timely manner to maintain accurate production records.

  • Perform local errands to support production, such as picking up supplies, etc.

  • Digitize and upload material certifications into the appropriate systems or databases. Ensure all scanned documents are legible, correctly labeled, and stored in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout. Ensure production materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible to support smooth production flow.

  • Assist with production scheduling, material coordination, and communication with the production team to ensure continuity of operations, if needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
