Overview

The Production Support Analyst is a GGB US Operations role responsible for supporting the Director of Systems/Workflow on the applications/software that enable AJGs production and client servicing operations and the end-to-end insurance broking process. The successful candidate will develop a broad understanding of all core systems with a primary focus on Gallagher Submit providing support to both internal and external Gallagher clients.

How you'll make an impact
  • Over time, the Production Support Analyst will become a subject matter expert on applicable systems.
  • He/she will be responsible for supporting primarily internal customers (users) who are part of GGBs Client Service Operations team around the country, external clients utilizing client facing tools, and work closely with? CSO Leadership, Production, PMO/IM, and BSD IT to identify and address the divisions business process efficiency, workflow, and automation needs.
  • Under the direction/supervision of the Director, this role will monitor and investigate performance and functional system issues.
  • Assignments may involve system support, problem solving, and solution design
  • This person should be capable of working both independently and in a team environment, excel at learning business systems and workflows and being able to assist others related to the business systems that enable our business
  • The successful candidate will be able to consistently meet deadlines, have superior organizational and problem solving skills and have an enthusiastic and highly engaged attitude, impeccable work-ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Serve as key member of the Systems/Workflow Team responsible for supporting core systems and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) specifically for Gallagher Submit and other integrated programs.
  • Participate in evaluating, reviewing and automating existing processes.
  • Test new versions/updates of applications.
  • Serve as support for internal CSO users and External Gallagher Submit Clients.
  • Identify and resolve complex problems or transactions where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes.
  • Develop solutions based on subject matter expertise and represents the department or function at a broader level.
  • Work closely with users, Learning & Development team, PMO, IT and vendor partners as necessary.
  • Perform low to modeate system administration tasks such as validation of automated data loads, importing of data files, reconciliation of system processes, running and/or file transmissions.
  • Assists IT, vendors and business system analysts in performing root cause analysis and issue remediation related to systems and workflow.
About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial insurance experience.

Preferred:

  • Hands on experience using the following applications is preferred: Gallagher Submit, Epic, CSR24, DMS, CSP, and/or PATE
  • Ability to listen, interpret requests (written and verbal) and/or ask appropriate questions in order to identify and efficiently solve problems by utilizing an analytical, pragmatic approach.
  • Insurance brokerage industry experience is a plus.
