Production Supervisor - Michigan Brick : Job Details

Michigan Brick positions General Shale to be the leading provider of brick solutions in the Midwest. Along with color varieties from classic to trendy, Michigan Brick features one of the few thin brick extruded operations in the industry, resulting in renovation and remodel options that are equal parts beautiful and practical.

Michigan Brick is seeking a Production Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Corunna, MI.

Responsibilities will include:

• Motivating and directing employees to ensure compliance with production and quality goals, safety policies, and company rules.
• Coordinating maintenance repair work and ensuring equipment is kept in proper working condition.
• Using problem-solving and critical thinking techniques to improve process and safety issues.
• Organizing production schedules to ensure the maximum utilization of equipment and personnel.
• Production inventory accuracy, periodic physical counts, and adjustment requests.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology, Business Administration, etc., or in lieu of degree a minimum of five years career experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and mechanical aptitude.
• The desire and ability to grow within the company.
