Schedule:

--- Monday–Thursday: 11-hour shifts

--- Friday: Partial day, as needed

Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience

Location: On Site – Monroe, WI Area

About the Role:

We're seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Production Superintendent to oversee both operational execution and employee development. This position plays a critical role in meeting production goals, reallocating resources efficiently, and maintaining high standards in both quality and performance. You'll split your time equally between the production floor and office responsibilities, helping lead and improve day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Office-Based Responsibilities (50%)

  • Administer payroll, PTO, hiring, termination, and disciplinary processes
  • Respond to internal/external emails within 24 hours
  • Track and report production metrics: shift output, staffing, inventory, and shortages
  • Deliver employee training and audit competencies
  • Review paperwork for production quality compliance
  • Adjust weekly production schedules for efficiency
  • Collaborate with supply chain and planning departments
  • Celebrate successes to support employee morale
  • Support product and line rollouts

Floor-Based Responsibilities (50%)

  • Communicate daily plans and production expectations
  • Assign labor and reallocate staff as needed
  • Mentor team leads and operators for growth and line coverage
  • Cross-train and act as backup for line leaders
  • Analyze team performance and request additional resources when needed
  • Train operators in inventory tracking and line setup
  • Lead weekly production team meetings covering safety, quality, and productivity
  • Perform routine quality checks
  • Occasionally support on-the-line work

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and dependability
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to lead, delegate, and collaborate across departments
  • Comfortable in both office and production floor environments
