Job Title: Production Schedule Controller

Working Pattern: Onsite

Working Location: Cypress, CA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Schedule Controller for our California facility. As the Production Schedule Controller, you will manage the facility production schedule. You will also manage the raw material inventory and ensure timely placement of orders to support operational demands. The core accountabilities for this role are planning delivery schedules for a given mix of parts and ensuring inventory accuracy. This role is essential to the success of Rolls-Royce HTC meeting its delivery commitments.

What you will be doing:

  • Utilize knowledge of production flow and load and capacity planning to build credible schedules and communicate these to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure production schedule is aligned to business priorities and consistent with available facility capacity
  • Communicate and schedule long term delivery commitments and coordinate recovery plans where needed
  • Ensure data integrity in the schedule status and raw material inventory
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives through the Rolls-Royce Production System and other problem-solving methodologies
  • Occasional weekend work may be required as needed and travel is expected to be light; less than 10% and mostly domestically

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate degree and 4+ years of operations planning or logistics experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of operations planning or logistics experience, OR
  • Master's degree, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 6+ years of operations planning or logistics experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficient in creating production schedules and inventory management
  • Discipline in working to established processes
  • Adept problem solving
  • Strong internal and external relationship management skills
  • Project management experience
