Job Overview:
The Production Roll Tender plays a vital role in our operations by ordering, inspecting, and efficiently managing paper splicing while ensuring an adequate supply of materials throughout production. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to our success.
Key Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience operating similar equipment or adequately trained as a Roll Tender.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work safely and productively.
- Strong attendance and reliability are a must.
- Mandatory overtime may be required.
- Ability to maintain a rapid work pace.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, handle, and reach overhead regularly.
- Occasional climbing, bending, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling is necessary.
- Good vision and manual dexterity are essential.
- Protective gear, including hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes, is mandatory.
Work Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM - totaling 36 hours/week. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 36 hours each week!
