A Day in the Life: As a Production Planning Manager, you'll be at the helm of securing the best value for all packaging materials, ensuring supply and capacity align with our global business strategies. You'll work hand-in-hand with local and global procurement teams to monitor supply within agreement parameters, ensuring that our sourcing models are adhered to and supply continuity is maintained. Your keen analytical skills will help identify trends and inefficiencies in transportation data, enabling you to streamline operations and bolster our supply chain efficiency.   • Mentor and manage a team of production planners by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and fostering a high-performance culture to elevate team capability and engagement.
  • Monitor planning KPIs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure alignment with service, inventory, and efficiency targets.
  • Serve as the escalation point for high-impact planning challenges by applying analytical thinking and cross-functional coordination to deliver timely, effective solutions.
  • Lead structured monthly reviews to assess performance, identify gaps, and align on improvement initiatives with stakeholders across supply chain and operations.
  • Ensure planners have the tools, data, and cross-functional inputs needed to execute plans effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Identify inefficiencies in planning workflows and lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance system utilization, and improve agility.
  • Conduct training sessions and assess development needs to build technical and leadership skills, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends.
  • Contribute to long-term supply strategies and prepare executive-level reports that translate planning insights into business recommendations.
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in production planning
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in product development to accurately forecast future production needs
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP software experience required (APO/SNP preferred).
  • Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools a plus.
  • Preferred Certifications: APICS, CSCP or CPIM Certification desired
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Ability to multi-task, be organized, and have superior attention to detail.
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated salary of $79,500 - $106,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
