Title: Production Operator / Turbine Mechanic Location: Skaneateles NY Duration: 0-12+ Months (Temp to Hire)Shift: 1st ShiftPay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/Hour on w2. Duties:Assemble component parts or sub-assemblies, solder, following strict instructions set out by other team members.Assemble small component parts or sub-assemblies using basic tools such as screwdrivers, clamps, exacto-knives, Allen wrenches, tweezers, wire cutters or cotton swabs.You may be expected to work using a microscope or magnifying equipment to perform intricate sub-assemblies.The ability solder and/or learn to solder is a requirement.Must have good manual dexterity and eyesight. Must be able to read, write and use basic math; maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks; work with basic chemicals.Work well in a fast-paced team environment.Can follow instructions and keep quality and safety standards high. Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Demonstrate ability to use hand and power tools.Good manual dexterity and eyesight. Must be able to read, write and use basic math.Maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks.Work with basic chemicals.
