The Production Operator II is responsible for setting up and operating automatic and/or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. They will need to follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedure, Standard Operating Procedures, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.

This position reports to the Senior Value Stream Leader and is part of the BioPharm Primary department located in Hauppauge, NY and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to production documents, batch control records, scrap/quality issues, and scorecards.
  • Escalate any manufacturing process issues in a timely manner to minimize scrap and machine downtime.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing Experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements.
  • Able to stand in your position for 8 hours/day and perform focused tasks in a noisy environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Manufacturing in clean room environments where gowns and PPE must be worn for extended periods.
  • Manufacturing with various chemicals that require PPE to be worn to be handled safely.

The salary range for this role is $18.50 - $21.00. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
