false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Nature of Work: This position performs equipment operation duties associated with the production and finishing of magnetic products. Examples of Work: ¨Selects and weighs components in accordance with established manufacturing directions (batch records). ¨Selects and moves components to weighing area or dumping station. ¨Examines in-process materials to determine compliance with quality standards. ¨Samples product according to Quality Control procedures. ¨Maintains equipment. ¨Responsible for cleanliness of work area and adherence to OSHA regulations. ¨Performs Daily Check Sheet on equipment and resolves issues. ¨Operates forklift to move and store raw materials. ¨Performs regular safety inspections and makes recommendations for improvement. ¨Checks calibration of scales and maintains inspection log. ¨Reports any inconsistency in color, thickness, etc., in raw or manufactured materials to department Team Leader. ¨Recommends improvements to product and process. ¨Assists mechanic as required. ¨Performs other duties assigned by management. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ¨Attention to detail skills. ¨Ability to operate equipment, including computer-controlled blending equipment. ¨Ability to become a licensed forklift operator. ¨Ability to communicate well with other employees, particularly regarding production issues. ¨Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. ¨Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. ¨Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations. ¨Ability to write routine correspondence and complete production paperwork including Waste & Production reporting, Smart Maintenance Work Requests, etc. ¨Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. ¨Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. ¨Ability to work extended hours as needed. ¨Ability to read and use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks etc. Minimum Qualifications: ¨Training: High School education or equivalent. Experience: Six months related experience preferred.
